Swath privacy policy

Swath is a storm and job app for roofing companies. This policy covers the Swath iPhone app and the web app at deploymarketingnwa.com/storm.

What the app collects

• Push token. If you turn on alerts, your device's push token and your company code are stored so we can send storm alerts to your phone. Turn alerts off in the app to delete it.
• Company code. Stored on your device so the app opens to your company's copy.
• Diagnostics. The app sends a small status report (app version, screen, company code, device type, recent errors) so we can fix problems. No names, photos or job data are included.
• Address checks. When you look up an address, that address is sent to our server to find the hail history for it. It is not stored with your identity.

What stays on your phone

Leads, photos, adjuster packets, notes and the sales and production boards are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to us unless a future version adds team sync, which will be covered by an updated policy and the service agreement with your company.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your data for advertising.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

Weather data comes from NOAA and the National Weather Service. Push notifications are delivered by Apple. The app is hosted on Netlify. Address lookups use a public geocoding service.

Photos, camera and location

The app asks for camera and photo access only when you add photos to an adjuster packet, and for location only when you ask to see storms near you. Each can be refused in iPhone Settings.

Children

Swath is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
