Short video that gets watched by people who've never heard of you.

I learned what travels on my own account: a golf account started from scratch with under 300 followers, 96 videos, about half of them misses, until the pattern was obvious. Now I make it for local businesses, and you skip the misses.

What I learned the hard way

What travels, and what doesn't.

Ninety-six videos in, the pattern wasn't a theory anymore. The ones that traveled all did the same few things. The ones that died all broke the same rules.

01

The first second decides everything.

People decide to keep watching before they know who you are. The hook comes first. The logo, the intro, the name of the shop: all of that comes after, or not at all.

What dies: a logo animation, a slow pan, "Hey guys, welcome back."

02

One idea, under thirty seconds.

Every video that traveled made one point and got out. The ones that tried to say three things said none of them. Faces and real work beat graphics every time, because people follow people, not slideshows.

What dies: the 90-second tour, stock footage, text over a stock photo.

03

A schedule beats inspiration.

Posting when you feel like it means posting twice and quitting. The account that gets watched is the one that shows up on the same days every week, whether or not the last one did well.

What dies: four posts in one weekend, then silence for a month.

Honest part: about half of our first 96 were misses. That's how you find out what works. You don't have to pay for that education twice; I already did.
How it works

One visit. A month of videos.

You don't need a studio, a script, or a content strategy meeting. You need somebody to show up with a phone and a plan, and know what to point it at.

  1. I come to you.Phone, plan, shot list. You run your day; I film around it.
  2. We film 8 to 12 clips in one visit. The work, the owner, the shop, and a customer if they'll say yes. Real people doing the real thing.
  3. I cut, caption and schedule them. Each one trimmed to the hook, captioned so it works with the sound off, scheduled across the month.
  4. They post to your accounts.Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, under your name. You get every file. They're yours to keep and reuse.
  5. One monthly visit keeps it rolling.New clips, same schedule. You never have to think about what to post.
Who it's for

Anyone who's been told "you should post more."

And has no idea what to post. If your work is something people can see happen, there's a video in it.

Barbers and tattooThe chair, the fade, the line work. The before and after is the whole video.
Restaurants and food trucksThe plate coming together, the line out the door, the owner saying what's on today.
Trades with visible workConcrete, fence, tree, roof, detailing. A pour, a drop, a finished job in thirty seconds.
Gyms and coachesOne drill, one cue, one client getting it right.
BoutiquesNew arrivals, how to wear it, the owner's pick for the week.
Anyone with a counterIf a customer walks in and watches you work, that's the footage.
Pricing

Quoted after one conversation.

The number depends on how many visits a month and how many videos come out of each one. I'll tell you what I'd do and what it costs before anything starts, and the number doesn't move once we've agreed.

Tell me what you do and how often you'd want to post. I'll come back with a plan: visits per month, videos per visit, which platforms, and one price.

  • Filmed at your business, by me
  • Cut, captioned, scheduled
  • Posted to your Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Every file is yours
  • No contract past the month

I'll tell you if video isn't first. If you have reviews and no website, or a Google profile that's half empty, video sends people to a dead end. In that case I'll say so and point you at a website or your Google profile first. Video works best when there's somewhere for people to land.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I have to be on camera?

No. The work can carry it: hands, tools, the before and after, the shop. That said, owners who show up on camera do better. People follow people. If you're willing, we'll start small.

What do I need to have ready?

Nothing. I bring the phone, the plan, and the shot list. You run your day and I film around it.

Can you run my account?

I post to your accounts, on a schedule, with captions written for your business. The accounts stay yours, in your name, with your logins. If we ever stop, nothing leaves with me.

How soon do videos show up?

The first batch is cut, captioned and scheduled within two weeks of filming. After that they go out on the schedule we agree on.

What areas do you serve?

Northwest Arkansas: Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, Springdale, Fayetteville, Centerton, Cave Springs, and Siloam Springs. I come to you.
